BEAST 

In a small island community, a troubled young woman falls for a mysterious outsider who empowers her to escape her oppressive family. When he comes under suspicion for a series of brutal murders she defends him at all costs and learns what she is capable of.

BEAST is the debut feature of BAFTA-nominated writer-director Michael Pearce starring Jessie Buckley and Johnny Flynn.

BEAST had its world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival 2017 before playing in the First Feature Competition at the BFI London Film Festival 2017 and Sundance Film Festival 2018. It was nominated for 10 BIFAs, winning ‘Most Promising Newcomer’ for Jessie Buckley. It was nominated for 2 BAFTAS in 2019, winning Outstanding British Debut. Watch the trailer below.
